Quality Assessment / Quality Improvement

Reports to Vice-President

  • PART TIME POSITION. UNDER 29 HRS/WEEK.
  • Bachelors in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services or related field.
  • Experience with Child Welfare, Community Mental Health.
  • Experience with audit process / certification.
  • CARF certification experience a plus.
  • Salary commensurable with experience.

 Provides formal processes utilizing objective measures to monitor, evaluate and make recommendations regarding quality of services in both, the clinical and administrative settings. This program, which addresses behavioral health care services defines and facilitates a systematic approach to identify and peruse opportunities to improve services and resolve issues identified on improvement plans.

 PROCESSING DUTIES

  • Completes performance analysis at least annually for business functions and service delivery that analyzes performance indicators of effectiveness of services.
  • Monitors performance indicators of clinical service delivery in all programs.
  • Implements strategies to improve the process, safety, and outcomes of all services provided to persons served.
  • Maintains contact with managed care agencies and other providers to resolve administrative and clinical issues.
  • Participates in peer reviews and case staffing.
  • Participates in management and department meetings as scheduled.
  • Participates in all staff meetings.
  • Responds to emergency calls and attends multidisciplinary meetings as required.
  • Completes satisfaction surveys as necessary.
  • Respond to client grievances in a timely manner.

 

OTHER DEPARTMENT DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

  • Attends and participates in staff development trainings and workshops.
  • Enter data as required in the LAURIS database system.
  • Generate correspondence as required.
  • Other department duties as assigned.
